Her arthritis was worse than any I had heard of. Her hands were bandaged and she was scheduled to have her fingers amputated within the week. Here extremities were actually turning black and the doctors feared gangrene would set in soon.

We knew that the spiritual roots of this type of arthritis were extreme self-hatred, and self-rejection and so as we ministered to her I asked if there was anything that she could not forgive herself for. At this point she asked if her daughter who had come with her could leave. Once her daughter left the room she revealed something that she had done when she was 15 that she had said she had never been able to forgive herself for.

We grieved with her over what had taken place and then walked her through receiving God's forgiveness and then through the more difficult task of forgiving herself. We then prayed for her hands and believed God for healing. At her next appointment with the doctor they removed the bandages with the expectation of removing her fingers and yet the fingers were totally healed except the finger nails had not grown back yet.

Today she has all her fingers and finger nails. Glory to God for His amazing grace and power to heal.
